My girlfriend suggested I take a look at this site, so here I am. I can not guarantee that I will produce a lot of work, but I hope you like what I write. Oh I am a Gary Numan fan by the way, hence the name.

This dvd is a two disc special edition. Nicely priced at £19.99.
Tom Hanks, plays a Fedex systems engineer called Chuck Noland. He lives an ordinary life. He works hard and he loves his Girlfriend.
His job is a big part of his life, and it takes up a lot of his time. He has to travel a lot, meaning he is away from his girlfriend, quite often.
He leaves one night, after exchanging Christmas presents, with his partner, to travel with his packages, and the plane he is on, goes down into the sea, killing all but him.
He finds himself on an island, somewhere, that has nothing. It is lived on by no one.
The rest of the film, is all about survival. He has to do everything for himself. The tides are to bad, for him to swim and his dingy is deflated.
Chuck must now learn to manage with what he has, and what he can create.
As time passes, you can see that he is determined to survive and although he starts to go a little crazy, it is his thoughts of his girlfiend that keep him alive.
This film, will have you engrossed from start to finish, with it's well thought out plot, and it's attention to detail. You can see that a lot of thought went into how to survive with nothing.
Tom Hanks, plays a brilliant role, as Chuck Noland. I think he plays an oscar winning performance.
Subtitles are available in three languages. English, German and Dutch.
The film is screened in 16:9 anamorphic widescreen.
The age rating is 12.

My opinon.
I was really happy, when my girlfriend bought this film for me, for Christmas. I had seen it once before, but really wanted my own copy. Like I said to start iwth, it is nicely priced at £19.99 for two discs. I believe this to be great value. I wouldn't have minded paying that, for sucha good film.
The acting is brilliant by all, but Tom Hanks plays a brilliant and convincing part. Being tha main charactor, you see a lot of him, and you can tell he has worked hard, to make this film believable.
I would recommend this film to anyone, who wants to sit and relax for a couple hours, with a good film. I did not think, originally, that this was my type of film, but I was wrong. I really did enjoy watching it. It made a nice change, to watch something different. I like action and drama in a film, and althought this film has that, it is different to the kind of action I am used to.
A really good film, with a good stor line, great acting, and plenty of extras. All for £19.99. You can't go wrong with that.
