Advantages: A warm, touching story with adrenalin fuelled scenes that keep you watching !!
Disadvantages: You can kind of guess the storyline but its still just as great!!

Another team player, Timo Cruz, (rick gonzalez) is involved in drugs, guns and gang wars and ends up losing a close family member. He's regularly on and off the team due to attitude problems and its seeing his friends transforming their lives which always brings him back. Lyle's father is in prison and his uncle is the only male role model for him to look to. He holds a constant battle with trying to maintain his grades and not to let his life take the same path as his father. Junior lost his brother 2 years ago and has never really gotten over it. Advantages: Superb revenge drama with a human touch
Disadvantages: It was overlooked at the cinema & probably will again on dvd

So starts 'Dead Man's Shoes' , a film in which Richard, played by Paddy Considine, is seeking revenge on the drugs gang and it's leader, Sonny (played by ex-boxer, Gary Stretch) who abused his mentally challeged brother, Anthony (Toby Kebell) while Richard was away in the Army. Sounds nothing original, and maybe in one paragraph it's not, but given to Shane Meadows to film in the rolling Derbyshire surroundings & with his ability to come out with gritty real English dialogue and accents & a real vision of how ordinary people live, it is a bit of a masterpiece. Disgracefully over-looked at the cinema - no doubt due to Warp Films' new & therefore small status as film-makers & distributors- it only seemed to be shown in arthouse... Read review

Advantages: Amazing film, great extras
Disadvantages: Poor soundtrack

..., this isn't too likely. Rob Brown as Kenyon Stone: Rob Brown has a diffcult time in the film, he has to balance-out many things all at once: his pregnant girlfriend, his studies, basketball and his future. With so much, whcih all all important, playing this must be quite a challenge as he seems to have something on his mind all the time when he's balling. I felt that he was very convinsing in the potrayal of such a complex personality. --Additional Roles-- Channing Tatum as Jason Lyle Nana Gbewonyo as Junior Battle Antwon Tanner as Jaron 'Worm' Willis Ashanti as Kyra Extras On the DVD,. there are many extras which are all fun to watch, we are given an idea of the back story and some additional parts to the story. --Coach Carter: The Man behind The Film-- This is possibly the most exciting part...
