recently bought Carmen Electra's Aerobics Striptease DVD and it was not at all what I expected. It exceeded expectations! I love exercising and I love aerobics in particular and when my schedule forced me to drop out of aerobics class, I rummaged the shops for some energetic aerobics classes on DVD. I must admit that I hesitated for a while before buying it; Carmen Electra's reputation was not really encouraging for me to spend £6 on a DVD which claimed to help you "strip your way to fitness". The only reason why I ended up buying it was because I was jealous of Carmen Electra's legendary physique and wanted to see how she acquired it!
But a pleasant surprise awaited me when I started the DVD. For starters, it is really decent- no stripping or vulgar moves. Instead, Carmen (looking sweet for a change!), accompanied by two other dancers, start leading you through some really worthwhile warm up series before embarking upon other gentle exercises. While the routines are quite gentle and not as energetic as I wanted them to be, it really does stretch and work the muscles.
The positive aspect of this DVD is that the menu offers you the option of choosing one particular routine or let them play one after the other. In addition, there is also a long and fantastic list of songs to accompany you throughout the workouts. The first DVD in her series are for certain specific target areas are really effective in toning the abs, thighs and bums. You really feel the pain the next day! The sexy aspect of the DVD is mainly during the lap-dance routine, and once more, I would call these moves "sensual" rather than vulgar. The lap dancing routines are really very tiring, but quite energetic. I believe that it will help people burn the same amount of calories in a much more fun and less boring manner than the usual leg kicks or sit ups!
In addition, some of my friends who tried my DVD out also reported back by saying that it helped them feel a lot more confident, especially in their personal lives. Won't go into much detail here!
Overall, I would advice you to get that DVD if you want to tone up your wobbly bits and build up confidence and feel sexy and secure in your own skin.
Thanks for reading!
