_It's an OK plot, it's full of mystery and whatnot, but there are twists which could have been kept secret to make it more interesting. I think it's a bit far-fetched that Carlita/Lexus is still being hunted after 8 years._

Acting The acting is terrible. The only two people in this film who I actually thought were good were Eva Longoria and Andy Sottilare. Eva is way too good an actress to be in this film and maybe if she weren't, the rest of the acting wouldn't look as bad. Andy Sottilare didn't play a big character, he was just the other cop, Ron Kastell, but the little that he did say was great, his lines were so funny. So, even if you still want to see this film after reading this review, just watch out for him. It's a shame he didn't get a bigger part.
Alejandra Gutierrez is a Playboy Playmate, so it's obvious she won't have the acting bug. Her acting is actually laughable. David Joseph Martinez had the opportunity to provide an award winning performance as his character ended up having Alzheimers, but I think his skills paired with the poor script stopped this from happening. Maria Bravo reminds me of the mother out of Adam's Family, she is that cold and stiff throughout the whole film.
One last thing about the acting, did anyone ever used to play Wink Murder as a child and you'd the whole over the top dying when you got winked at? That's what it's like when someone gets shot in the movie.
Soundtrack I've read in certain places that the 'composer' for this soundtrack was high whilst making it and that's why there are like two songs on loop. The soundtrack is absolutely awful! They have a rap song which plays no matter what's happening in the scene. They also have this other porn film type music which is on loop. Also, throughout many of the scenes, you can't hear the dialogue due to the terrible music being too loud.
Set Is also terrible. Especially the club scenes. Club Loco is meant to be some hip, cool club where everyone wants to be. But the club looked awful and they usually only had like 2 extras in the club scenes, making it seem like the worst club in the world.
Overall It's a rubbish movie, please don't see it. The only good things about it are Eva Longoria and Andy Sottilaire with his funny lines. Although it only lasts 87 minutes, it felt like a lifetime. It is a low-budget film and I've heard they had a lot of problems during filming, but it's still no excuse for how awful it is.
Eva Langoria (DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES, THE SENTINEL) stars as a woman who aspires to become a dancer on Broadway, but must overcome her shady past. Also starring former Playboy Playmate, Alejandra Gutierrez.
