Review:
After a call for help from the UAC facility on Mars a crack RRTS (Rapid Response Tactical Squad) unit has been sent to obtain UAC property, rescue UAC employees and clean up the threat. The team consists of the leader, Sarge (The Rock, Reaper (Karl Urban), Destroyer (Deobia Oparei), Mac (Yao Chin), Goat (Ben Daniels), Duke (Razaaq Adoti), Portman (Richard Brake) and The Kid (Al Weaver).
Once there they discover that the scientists have been performing experiments on humans which have mutated into vicious creatures lurking in the darkness, stalking and killing anything that lives They attempt to deal with the threat with a "nothing gets out alive" policy but will that be enough to save them? Before we find out about that, lets nip back to 1993 for a minute.
Back in the early 90's Doom was at the forefront ...

I know I haven't written for a long time. It's not that I don't want to or that I lack inspiration. I haven't given up the site either because I am regularly among you. But the thing is : when I want to write on a topic (health & beauty is my favourite one), I realize that another member has already done it, and in a great way so I have to think of something else.
Lately, when going through the catalogue of the site, I saw that nobody had been inspired by this U2 DVD so far, I was eager to start my review.
I won't tell you the story of the Irish band as I guess you already know it, or at least you've heard of it. As far as I am concerned, I've heard of the band for the first time when I was ten. I've been a great fan since, although I've never seen them live in concert. My favourite albums are "The Joshua Tree"; "Achtung ...
Advantages: Good twist, good performances from the leads, lots of gore and the wonderful FPS sequence. Disadvantages: Seen it all before - very little difference to Aliens, except Doom is not as good.
DOOM
It's official! Computer game conversions to the big screen suck the hairy scrotum of Satan's plums. Yep, it's a dire genre of film, filled with an abundance of poorly conceived computer generated monstrosities, shockingly designed plots that bare little resemblance to the original computer games intent, acting of the "can't find my way out of a paper-bag" variety and shoddy direction from an MTV generation of movie-makers suffering from severe attention deficit hyperactivity disorder. Still, it keeps the kids happy; their short attention spans finding the directors mangled perception of their favourite Playstation games somewhat accessible and entertaining. Obviously, they've all been duped by the films otherwise well-known title, that it's manipulated their fragile little minds. How anyone can rate Resident Evil as a five star ...
