...Being a High School Musical fan , when I heard that there was a new 'music' film out , I just had to see what Disney had come up with and whether it was live up to the success of High School Musical. Camp Rock is an American Disney Channel Original movie released in the United Kingdom on September 1st 2008. The film was directed by Mathew Diamond and stars a few already 'well known' children's entertainers , including the American boyband The Jonas Brothers and Demi Lovato. Running time of this movie is ninety four minutes (four minutes over one hour and a half). This movie is a U which means it can be seen by children of all ages! Advantages: Good film with excellent special effects

...good and evil, but with cutting edge special effects and action scenes galore this is a great film to watch. The blu-ray version i watched was a 2 disc set with the second disc full of extras. There was a section on the history of transformers, and interviews with executive producers Steven Spielberg and Brian Goldner, writers Alex Kurtzman and Robert Orci, and director Michael Bay. There were also features on the animation used and the way they worked out where to do scenes. You also get a look at the military equipment seen and used in the film. This additional information is something you do not want to skip over, because it gives you a much deeper understanding of how much planning and work went into the final production. Advantages: A good kids film to watch! :)
Disadvantages: Very predictable

...Camp Rock was the 2008 Disney Channel Original Movie, and was shown on the Disney Channel in the Summer of last year, and its now a huge success. The show is about a young girl, Mitchie Torres. She has been fantasizing about going to Camp Rock, a music related Summer Camp all year, but her family can't afford the fee's and so she has to get used to the idea that its just not going to happen to her. Until her mum Connie (a caterer) gets hired as the chef and Mitchie gets into Camp Rock for a cut price. When Mitchie gets to camp she meets up with many people, and she finds out that Shane Gray (Joe Jonas, Jonas Brothers) is going to be a star guest at the camp.
