My Bay
Review of Bay by  Sunnysmiles

Advantages: tasty addition to stews and cassorole
Disadvantages: maybe to strong for your taste

...Bay is an everygreen herb which grows like a shrub, it can be grown in open spaces or in tubs. The flowers of the bay are yellow and it will flower in may. The best way to get a bay plant is to buy one from a garden centre for around 99p depending on the size. I also like to get my herbs from bootsales where you can pick them up from 25p so saves money. When your bay plant is well established in the pot re-plant it outside. It likes to be in a sunny but shaded place in the garden. They may die off in the winter but should throw new shoots during the following spring. Bay is a native to the east mediterranean but have been grown in europe for years. They are a very popular herb to grow in your herb garden as they have a good use in cookery. You can use the leaves dried or fresh. Bay leaves have a very strong aromatic... Read review

Nature at Bay
Review of Bay of the Somme by  torr

Advantages: Accessible, attractive, atmospheric
Disadvantages: Covers too small an area

...As you walk west towards the sunset along the beach at Le Crotoy, the rattle of shingle soon gives way to the soft crunch of seashells in the sand beneath your feet. Before long you are away from the town and the only other sound to be heard is from out in the estuary, a mixed chorus of gulls, geese and sandpipers. They rise and fall in flurries amid the creeks in the grey-green mud. Dusk descends, and a red navigation light flashes out to sea. When you turn to retrace your footsteps, a trail of luminescent dots discloses the habitations on the far side of the bay of the Somme. * Why go, and how? * Even the most enthusiastic advocates (like me) of overnight shopping/eating/drinking trips to France have to admit that the area around Calais and Boulogne does sometimes become a bit overrun with English visitors (like me... Harold and Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay
Review of Harold And Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay (DVD) by  francesca.sd

Advantages: Some funny bits.
Disadvantages: Lame humour.

...and for Kumar to enjoy the aonders of pot smoking. The first scene of the movie is moderately amusing as we are introduced to the main character's personal traits. Trouble begins when Kumar introduces Howard to the 'smokeless' bong on the plane journey. This is mistaken for a bomb and causes the characters to be in great trouble. The pair are put into Guantanamo Bay in Cuba and the prision scenes are fairly funny although I never actually laughed. Although, just as a for instance, one of the 'funny' parts at this point in ther film is when big bob tries to make them eat his 'cockmeat' sandwich. What kind of humour is ?! After escaping from the prison they then meet a friend who keeps them for one night. In this scene there was so many naked women! It was kind of weird! But if you're a guy then I'm sure you'll love it! There are certainly some... Read review
