CHiPs - Series 2 DVD

Advantages: Fantastic horror that will leave you thrilled and chilled...
Disadvantages: Where are the DVD extras the film deserves?!?

...appeared in some very successful TV series before landing the role of Carol Anne in Poltergeist - including CHiPs and Happy Days. She went on to appear in both Poltergeist II: The Other Side and in Poltergeist III which was to be her final movie. Heather died at only 12 years of age from cardiopulmonary arrest and intestinal stenosis. Robbie Freeling is played by Oliver Robins who has made only a few TV and movie appearances outside of the Poltergeist franchise. He also starred in Airplane II: The Sequel and an episode of the Twilight Zone in 1986. His last screen appearance was in Poltergeist II: The Other Side. He is still alive and hasn't yet fallen foul of the "Poltergeist Curse". He has written and directed some projects within the last few years. Dana Freeling is played by Dominique Dunne. Advantages: Very funny, fast, loveable characters
Disadvantages: DVD menus

...This was the first fast show DVD i bought. I was very pleased with it, the characters are hilarious as ever! However, if you want more value for money I would buy the 3rd series, just because you get an extra DVD. But series 2 has characters that disappear in the later series and is also a step up from the first series which was just starting off. One thing I dislike is the DVD menus. Most people seem to find them difficult to follow and confusing, but they are bright and colourful. They express the "fast" in the show. If you've never watched the fast show before I would recommend this DVD. As it's a 30 minute sketch show, you quickly learn the character's traits and begin to adore them, even if you never watched the first series. I'd give this 9/10... Read review

...Howards way is a drama set in 'Tarrant'. It is all about the ongoings of the Howard family, hence the title Howard's Way. The second season follows on with the story of the Howards and the Mermaid boatyard. The second series kicks off with the Mermaid yard celebrating another sucessful launch while its future hangs in the balance. As the series progresses more revelations are revealed as Tom Howard continues his business at the Mermaid Yard and Jan Howard develops her fashion career. The series finale results in broken hearts and spilt blood on the beaches and blouses of Tarrant. DVD Extras include audio commentary from 2 of the original cast members, Jan Harvey (Jan Howard) and Stephen Yardley (Ken Masters) Currently series 1 - 4 (of 6) have been released on DVD by 2 entertainment.
