The concept of this new Disney movie is an adventure with the 'real' Buzz Lightyear. Buzz Loses his partner Warp Darkmatter in action during the opening scenes of the film when they tru to rescue 3 lost LGMs (Little Green Men) from Star Command.
Buzz (voice by Tim Allen) discovers that the evil Emperor Zurg is behind the abduction (of course). He plans to turn the entire Universe evil by using the LGM's 'unamind' device.
Like many adults, I loved Toy Story I and II. However, this release doesn't really come up to the standard of the first two movies.
Firstly, although Woody et al are on the box, they only appear in a brief (albeit amusing) computer animated introduction. There are, however, a number of amusing new characters introduced.
The movie is presented in ordinary cartoon animation rather than computer animation, which does not compare and is surely a step backwards.
However, that having been said, the kids will love it! And for us adults, well, the humour is still upto the old standard, so perhaps you won't be too disappointed after all.
