Tiger Woods offer a few pointers on attaining the handicap golfer's dream--more power--and how to avoid a nightmare, with a refresher on the basics of course management. "We'd all like to be Tiger Woods," says Butch. But the key to his power fundamentals is to accept your physical limits and swing to 80 per cent. Hardly ground-breaking stuff, and if you're looking for the "secret" to 300-plus-yard drives, you won't find it here. Butch re-asserts the basics of "railroad" alignment, suggests you get "wide" on your turn, and short of running through set-up refinements for the long clubs in your bag, that's about it. The course management section consists of Butch playing a hole with his son, analysing the mistakes they make, and offering tips on playing from difficult lies in the (US) rough or sand. The message is to focus on an honest understanding of your own abilities, and play accordingly. Rank beginners are going to feel they've missed a lesson or two; low handicappers will have heard this all before, but those in the 16-24 handicap group could find a couple of useful "game-thoughts" here. The programme comes in at just over an hour long--including some "my life in golf" filler--and the "lessons" could be reduced to a couple of minutes, but that would miss the point. Yes, Butch's charm carries some pretty thin material here, his less-is-more teaching philosophy translating less successfully than in Secrets of the Short Game, but this is a slick, watchable production, which does succeed in getting workable ideas across in an engaging way. --Alex Hankin

Advantages: Very detailed, provides accurate knowledge and tips Disadvantages: Lengthy video with alot of points to understand
...Well, the Leadbetter Box Set is comprised of three DVD's, it guides you through each aspect of the golf swing, explaining the swing plain in very good length. The main focus of this DVD is promote a better understanding of the good and bad points of the average golfers' swing. It then starts to build a solid foundation on a professionals golf swing introducing new swing drills for the golfcourse, such as the L to L drill. Overall, as an avid golfer myself of reasonable handicap I found this to be very helpful as a introduction to the aspects of golf.
David Leadbetter is famous for his teaching skill and really shows how golf should be played. I found this very intresting and both very helpful in the process to building a good golf swing and playing better golf.
A must buy for me....

...Roy’s lustful desires, but is naturally enough loathe to get herself involved with one of life’s born losers.
~ ~ Eventually Roy decides to try to get his act together, and try to prove himself worthy of Molly’s love by entering and winning the US Open Golf Championship.
The action now swings to the golfcourse itself, and in one hilarious scene during the qualifying rounds for the Championship proper, Roy and his friend and caddie Romeo have a disastrous falling out on the tenth tee. Roy, in true swashbuckling fashion, asks Romeo for the “Big Dog” (driver) so that he can propel the golf ball over a huge stand of trees.
Romeo wants him to play the safe shot down the middle of the fairway, and when Roy refuses, he snaps the club over his knee, followed shortly thereafter by the 3-wood.
In a fit of temper...

Advantages: Great story and good performances Disadvantages: Lack of decent DVD features
..." - This is a very short bonus feature and rather than being an informative look at how the film was made, delivers more of a promotional viewpoint and fails to really capture how good the film really is.
"Product Notes & Biographies" - Usual information on the cast and crew of the film, but more up to date information can be found on the Internet.
"Trailers" - There are two trailers for the film you have just watched, plus one for the release of "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid" DVD release.
► Picture Quality
The transfer to DVD really shows how great the cinematography really is, with lush, smooth colours and a crispness to every scene, whether it is in a dark room or putting in at the 18th hole. I have to say that certain films are known for having brilliant sound, I believe this one should be known for having some of the most beautifully...
