This is a light-hearted, rather frothy film, which is great fun as long as you concentrate on the fight scenes and ignore the howling gaps in the plot and some fairly weak scripting. I think that if you're in a good mood when you go to see this film (as I was) then you'll enjoy it; if you're not, its silliness will probably irritate you very quickly. However, both the leading male and the leading female are very easy on the eye, the fight scenes are well done if a little obviously influenced by 'The Matrix', and the baddies are convincingly evil. The film does try a bit too hard to be deep, but its gentle humour and visual eye candy make me recommend it.

It's always useful when you're reviewing a film or a book to give an outline of the plot (no spoilers though!) as this helps people to decide if it's something they'd like to see/read. Sue.
