Like most Buffy the vampire slayer fans i'm addicted, but unlike some not many people can get all the video sets, thats why I find reading these opinions very helpful and give me alot of information before I buy some videos. Advantages: humourous, action packed, the best series yet

Buffy vs Dracula gets the humour vote in this series, Xanders first encounter with Dracula still makes me laugh with his sesame street count impression. We have the introduction of Buffy's sister, Dawn- A teen that does nothing but whine and impose on Buffy's time. Glory- Hell God intent on recovering her key to the Hell dimension she rules over which was hidden by the monks. The Knights of the Byzantium- Intent on destroying the key and anyone ...
...opening.And finally Ben- Hospital doctor with a secret. There are odd episodes scattered about but this is definately the best story line; with Glory making people insane to keep herself on our plane. The watchers council on Buffy's case, Spike's proclaimation of love, Riley's road to recovery, Xander being made into two, and further discoveries of the past of some of the main characters ie: Tara and Anya. ...on, everything gets explained and Buffy must face her strongest opponent ever. This season also goes in a lot more detail about feelings, especially when the whole gang are faced with the death of someone close to them. If you like Buffy for the action, then maybe you're better off watching Angel. But if you like Buffy for the passion, the humour and the plot twists, then grab some tissues, sit down and get ready for the best season yet. ... Read review

...This cult TV show is about a young woman named Buffy Anne Summers,she is the chosen one a vampire slayer to rid the world of vampires.demons and all that is evil.In this season Buffy's younger sister Dawn/key arrives.Buffy later finds out Dawn is not her sister she was placed with to protect her from glory a god who is looking for the key to open the gates of hell.Glory tries and tries to find out who the key is by hurting buffy's friends,when she finally catches them out Buffy' takes her sister and her friends and flees.Dawn gets captured by Glory,buffy goes back to save her leading to a great but sad ending to this season.... ...Plot Season 5 is my least favourite Buffy season. Buffy's world is even darker than usual. To begin with, she's the only person who seems surprised that she has a sister - Dawn. Buffy and Dawn cope together as their mother becomes ill, but Buffy leaves Riley out in the cold and their relationship begins to falter. Not only is there no hope for Buffy's mum, but there's a new 'big bad' in town, and she's even tougher than Buffy. It turns out that Glory is a god, and nothing like the baddies that Buffy has fought before. With Joyce dead, and Riley gone, Buffy is left to face the truth - there's no way she and the gang can beat Glory. There's only one option left for Buffy to take. Advantages: Glory, sexiest villain yet, The most poignant of all seasons, The season finale is a stunner!!!
Disadvantages: There is a consecutive three depressing episodes in the middle

...have a heart of stone! I won't give too much away but an original character shockingly dies, and it hits Buffy HARD! This season is a must, 5 & 7 are my favourite ......... Read review
