Season three was actually the first season I brought on box set as it was on offer at WH Smith for only £15. I decided to collect the seasons after his as I wanted to watch them from the start. I think that this season shows a lot more development of the characters and as there is a few months between the ending of season 2 and the start of this some of the characters have changed. Buffy at the start of this season seems lost and confused. She has lost interest in being the chosen one and wants a normal life. She goes through a lot in this season to see why she has been chosen for this fate. She is more collective and mature than the second season, thinking more about her decisions and concentrating more on her family life and her future. Advantages: One of the best seasons of Buffy in a complete boxset Disadvantages: Only one episode with spike. No 5.1 sound.
...The phenomenally successful series Buffy the Vampire Slayer returns for its third season on DVD. The series focuses on the life of Buffy Summers, high school student by day, super strong vampire slayer by night.
Although you could start watching Buffy from this season (after all I originally started watching in season 5) its not recommended, as you would not fully understand the story lines.

Advantages: A great Buffy Series Disadvantages: Box not very accessible
...out there who don't know, Buffy is GOOD, Buffy is a Vampire Slayer, the Buffy series is a must see...
I'm sure for all you out there the background story of Buffy is well known... But for all you out there who came to this review first, a very quick run-down, so with fading lights and a shimmering fade-out lets begin.
In every generation there is a chosen one, one who will fight the Vampires and Demons who roam the earth, cue Buffy... A highschool ... ...straight into the world of Buffy stop and think a bit. A lot has happened in the Buff world up till now. A Lot of the stories carry through and watching the characters develop is great. comparing this third series to the first, the characters have already come along way from the frightened first-time demon killers they once were.
Anyway, back to our third series DVD review...

Episode Three: Faith, Hope and Trick
In this episode we're introduced to the new Slayer in Sunnydale - the confident and slightly arrogant Faith. The episode mainly centers around her arrival and the reasons for it, as well as the introduction of a new love interest for Buffy and a new vampire player in town. It's a good episode that I like a lot - Faith has over the course of the series become one of my favourite characters. Oh - and there's a nice cliffhanger at the end!
Episode Four: Beauty and the Beasts
There are brutal attacks happening all over Sunnydale - is Oz the werewolf the culprit? Or perhaps Angel, who's currently in a feral state. This ...

Buffy the vampirslayer is a tv show about a teenage girl who also happens to be the chosen one, with superpowers and a calling to fight vampires and other nasty things. She also has go to school and act normal by day however.
Season 3 is generally considered to be the strongest of Buffy and I generally agree. This is the most original, funny and dramatic the series ever got, all in one go.
