Advantages:	Fun,witty,exciting,dramatic and the box sets are relatively cheap too !
Disadvantages:	Season 4 was a let down

What can i say about these box sets? if you want to watch fun,witty,dramatic,emotional characters in brilliantly thought out storylines (other than series 4 which was a bit naff) coupled with excellent fight scenes,buy these box sets!!!
series one was one of the best as youre introduced to the main characters and taken in by the tragic relationship between buffy and angel but this is eclipsed by the superb series 2 in which angel turns evil and throws the whole storyline on its head! i personally think this is one of the better series as joss whedon is able to make the audience feel the whole range of emotions-sadness,betrayal,happiness,shock,and laughter.
Series 3 was a bit of a comedown after the shocking finale to series 2 but with the introduction of faith (the new slayer) and the hygiene obsessed mayor its still one of the best.
Series 4 was where buffy started to stumble with the ludicrous villian adam and the initiative botching up every episode they were in! This however,is not neccersarily a bad series when you look at the excellent episode hush-in almost total silence!-and the two parter where faith returns.
Only the first half of series 5 has come out on video so far but this recovers from series 4 excellently and i cant wait for the second box set of this series to come out as it holds two of the biggest shocks in the history of buffy-from "the body" which is extremely moving to the season finale "the gift".
Buy this box sets!!!
