One other thing, i tink this is the first bollywood film ive seen where none of the cast wear indian clothing, ive only seen western clothing on this. Check out the picture ive uploaded of the cast in their clothes all modern western outfits. This dvd has various language subtitles and tamil dubbing, Default language Hindi. I highly recomend this film ive watched it in cinemas and ive watched it on dvd sereral times and still cant get enough of it. Advantages: Witty script & charasmatic performances

...Want an original and thoroughly entertaining way to kill two hours? Then why not get your paws on a copy of East Is East? I was alittle apprehensive about the film when I watched the trailer (a bonus feature on the DVD), but don't let it put you off- it features few of the highlights of this appealing movie. Packed full of talented Asian Brit actors, delivering top notch performances, East Is East establishes itself quickly as another hit for the excellent FilmFour company. Set in 'gritty' Manchester in the 1970s, the music and setting evoke pleasantly nostalgic vibes of that era. The characters are charasmatic and individual, each bringing variety and humour to the film.
