London To Brighton DVD
Review of London To Brighton DVD by Wjww

Advantages: VERY IMPRESSIVE FILM
Disadvantages: NONE

...This film won the British Independent Film Award for Best Achievement in Production in 2006, the Golden Hitchcock Award at the Dinard British Film Festival for Paul Williams (2006), the director, the New Director's Award at the Edinbugh Film Festival 2006, the Evening Standard British Film Awards for most promising newcomer for Paul Williams in 2007, the Festival Prize for best feature film at the Foyle Film Festival in 2006, the Raindance Film Festival Juy Prize for UK Feature for Paul Williams in 2006 and was nominated for six other awards. There is a grim sense of inevitability about the film: people... Read review

A Private Enterprise
Review of The Forgotten Bomber The Story Of The Blenheim Bomber by SteveMason77

Advantages: Accurate Facts
Disadvantages: not much use to people not into Warbirds

...This DVD is all about the Bristol Blenheim, a Fighter/Bomber that is still very welcome on the Airshow Curcuit today. Little did he know that Trouble was brewing in Mainland Europe and his Creation would go on to serve in all three main theatres of action in World War II. Yet, as the Title of the DVD States, the Blenheim is the "Forgotten Bomber" as virtually no-one remembers the Aircrafts contribution to the Defense of This Country. On the Blenheims First test flight it proved itself so fast at over 300mph it left the R.A.F.s Front line fighters standing as it outran them by 50mph. Lord Rothermere had named... Read review
