affair--subtitled "More Music From the Film and Other V.G. Songs", it could be seen to be somewhat stretching the loyalty of wannabe Bridgets everywhere. But then again, when it includes such a great line-up of tracks, it would be churlish to complain. The two glaring omissions fromVolume 1put in a very welcome appearance, namely Van Morrison's "Someone Like You" and Nilsson's "Without You" (albeit without Bridget's somewhat over-exuberant backing vocals), along with the original version of Robbie's "Me and Mrs Jones" by the Dramatics and an acoustic version of the Gabrielle hit "Out of Reach". Nestling comfortably alongside them are a wealth of tracks for the modern singleton--empowerment in the form of En Vogue's "My Lovin' (You're Never Gonna Get It)", feel-good sentiments from McAlmont and Butler's "Yes" and a good bit of wallowing courtesy of Yvonne Fair's "It Should Have Been Me". The only things that are missing are the free bottle of Chardonnay and the big pants. --Helen Marquis

onto the cover of this 19-track soundtrack), bringing hope to lonely souls all over the country and a word of warning to smug marrieds everywhere. For what should be called "the best chick flick in the world...ever!" the soundtrack compilers have come up with a dream tracklist--from classics such as Aretha Franklin's "Respect", Jamie O'Neal's tearjerker "All By Myself" and Andy Williams' "Can't Take My Eyes Off You", to more contemporary gems from the likes of Gabrielle ("Out of Reach"), The Pretenders ("Don't Get Me Wrong") and Artful Dodger ("Woman Trouble"). Plus you get the added bonus of two unreleased Robbie Williams tracks--the big-band stylings of "Have You Met Miss Jones?" and the tender "Not of this Earth"--and, of course, the much-hyped karaoke-by-numbers of "It's Raining Men" by Geri Halliwell and her pants. Bridget Jones's Diary 1: This film starts off with a 30 something Bridget going to her parents house (which is set near where I live) and her talking about her life in a narrated form. Bridget played by the wonderful Renee Zellweger is set up again by her mother, but this year it happends to be the hot Mark Darcy (Colin Firth) wearing a terrible jumper his mother gave him. He says something horrible like "Epesially not someone ... ...without getting bored. Bridget Jones Diary: The Edge Of Reason
Unlike the first film I was really disapointed with the second film. I has read the book and loved it, it's so much better than the first book but they took too much out of the film. I also think Renee Zellwegers accent gets worse in this second film, it actually sounds fake, plus there is too many soppy moments in the film that are not in the book, the scene at the start is terrible. ...

...their fight to sing "Happy Birthday" is hilarious and I cry with laughter every time.
I love this film and can watch it over and over and never get bored. The soundtrack is great and there is such energy to the film that it will have it glued to your seats.
BridgetJones The Edge of Reason - The Plot
Bridget finally has her life together, she has a boyfriend (Mark Darcy) and she's a top reporter, even Bridget can't mess this up or can she?
Bridget gets doubts about Mark's fidelity when beautiful Rebecca appears on the scene and always seems to be tagging along with Mark and Bridget even on their skiing mini break in Austria.
Daniel Cleaver also re-appears in Bridget's life and she is forced to appear in a TV show with him in Thailand. Poor Bridget ends up being carried off to jail for smuggling...
