Bridget Jones 1 Bridget Jones is an hilarious film taken from a novel by Helen Fielding. Renne Zelleweger plays the lead role of Bridget Jones who is a single women who falls for the gorgeous and witty Daniel Cleaver (played by Hugh Grant) but he isnt all what he seems and has various affairs. Bridget turns up to a posh party dressed as a very tarty rabbit, lets her mum dress her at xmas parties and is always on a diet. She eventually falls for the very successful Mark Darcy (played by Colin Firth). Any women watching this film will cringe as they relate to the hilarious happenings in Bridgets life.
The Edge of Reason This carrries on from the first film and again is just as good and hilarious as it. Bridget again gets into very funny situations including her experience with magic mushrooms, being jailed in Thailand, again she is permanantly on a diet and has many break ups with Mark Darcy. She has a new job as a reporter and this leads her into some very funny but real to life situations.
Both Bridget Jones DVDs have extras including a quiz whilst you watch the movie and deleted scenes!
About a Boy Taken from the novel by Nick Hornby this film about a 12 year old boy Marcus whos mum is on the edge of suicide. Marcus finds a friends in middle aged bachelor Will (Hugh Grany) and invites himself round his house evryday. Marcus shows Will that there is more to life than fashion and trends. This is a funny and heart touching story.
The DVDs come in a silver foldout case and this looks very good. All three films are definetly worth seeing and this boxset will look good in any DVD collection. I bought mine last week brand new at a very cheap price from amazon. They will definetly help lift you up and put you in a good mood if your feeling down!
