"what's wrong? you know it takes more energy to frown than it does to smile?" yeah, you know it takes more energy to point that out than it does to leave me alone?

i don't think it was meant to be scary, a bit funny and a bit strange maybe. chucky, when he was a person got killed by the police and goy his soul transferred in to a doll's body using voodoo. this film is about his ex-girlfriend, tiffany (Jennifer Tilley), bribing a cop to get her the remains of the doll from a lock up, she stitches them together and, uses voodoo to bring him to life. chucky then kills tiffany and turns her in to a doll, they now both need to find human bodies so chucky's got a helper, they now both need to get to new jersey to retrieve the amulet, which allows them to transfer their souls in to human bodies, that was buried with chucky's body.two teenage newly weds help them get there, without knowing the real reason the dolls need to get there so urgently. lots of craziness and killing. i bought this about a 7 months ago and i've watched it about 4 times, i'm not entirely sure why, but i haven't got bored of it, which is surprising. i still enjoy it (although not as much) even though i know what's going to happen (and in some cases the next line). some of the ways people day are so strange, i don't want to say too much and spoil it but it's really worth buying just to watch the chandelier scene and for little over 5 pounds it doesn't really matter if you don't enjoy, but i think you will. not necessarily just for horror fans, also a bit of humour in the film (although not much) i guess it could also be classed as a romantic comedy. the dolls act and move exactly like real people, i expected the special effects to be really budget and was nicely surprised, the tiffany doll even looks the same as the real tiffany.
