That old bah-humbug Brer Fox is in for an eye-opening Christmas when Brer Rabbit's Dickensian scheme scares goodwill into him. An animated children's tale.
Advantages: Looks very Christmassy, Well Directed Disadvantages: The people look creepy
stupid and he kept flickering in the wind in a really annoying way.
The views of the little ones
8 year old sister liked it. 10 year old sister liked it and 12 year old brother liked it, though he liked The Vampire?s Assistant which he saw last week better. The girls did also think it was quite scary, but in a good way, they?d jump at times but laugh afterwards.

Overall
It?s the same old ChristmasCarol story with little deviation from the original telling. It?s strengths are that it is beautifully retold and directed with an amazing, boundless recreation of Victorian London that encapsulates Christmas. On the downside the animation of the people still doesn?t look completely real despite the fact that it?s the best this style of 3-D capture has ...
Advantages: Good fun to watch, a unique twist on "A Christmas Carol" Disadvantages: None
Blackadder's ChristmasCarol is a one-off comedy special, a parody on Charles Dickens' "A ChristmasCarol". Timeline wise it's set between the third and the fourth series, and is narrated by Hugh Laurie.
Ebenezer Blackadder owns a shop in Victorian England. In a brilliant twist on Blackadder and on Scrooge, he is widely regarded as the nicest man in England. He will go out of his way for anyone and would give away his last penny if it made someone happy. As a result of this though, he is taken advantage of all time, as people know he never says no to anyone. One person who doesn't though is his assistant, Mr. Baldrick, who for once is actually content in his job. But Ebenezer is lonely and miserable, his shop never makes a profit because he gives it all away and he never keeps anything for himself. That all changes though one ...
Advantages: A family friendly, accurate retelling of a classic story, with a good cast and memorable songs! Disadvantages: You're friends might give you a bit of stick but they secretly love it too!
with some real touching moments and quirky humour as well as some pretty good songs.
ChristmasCarol has had more screen adaptions than any other story it has been a musical more than once, a western, and has had numerous modern day adaptions such as 'Scrooged' with Bill Murray.
It's harmless enough and has a positive moral message which has nothing to do with Christmas but rather that the positives of giving and supporting those below us should be considered every day of our live and the chains we form in life are those we take with us to the grave.
Great Songs, Sharp Humour, Memeroable Performances - there's not a lot you can be negative about with this film.
Enjoy it again and don't feel you have to wait until Christmas comes around.
Special Features: None to speak of on my DVD but I do believe that a special edition DVD is ...
