I first seen this film in the cinema and enjoyed it so much I bought it on DVD. Braveheart is set in Scotland during the 13th century and is about a man named William Wallace who when his wife is brutally murdered by English troops, decides to avenge her death by rebelling against the English, his quest for revenge soon turns into a fight for his country's freedom. Tales of Wallace's bravery travel round Scotland inspiring every comoner to take arms against the English and fight along side him, and escalate their crusade into a full scale war.
The extras on the second disc are nothing compared to the film, although their is audio commentary from Mel Gibson which offers a different expeirience of Braveheart it is one of the bad points on this special edition DVD. One of the good points on the second disc though is there is a very entertaining and factual documentary
Feature run time: 171 minutes Suitable only for person of 15 years and over
Actors Mel Gibson Sophie Marceau Patrick McGoohan Cathriene McCormack

For me this is still an SH review. You really need to read around as we've all said. Let me know if you edit it again.

Hi Jack this is a little better and I've rated you up a notch as you've obviously added a bit more since I read it last time. Please, please read some other film reviews - you'll learn much more from them than us giving you advice. You've made a great start - almost everyone on here has problems with their first review - don't be disheartened! Jacky x
