I didnt know what to expect from this film to be honest. Not another film with Steve Martin and Eddie Murphy! But, I was pleasantly surprised. Mr Martin's character isn't the best in the world, but he manages to make something of it. Eddie Murphy on the other hand, who plays not one, but two characters, pulls off superb performances as a film star, and the film stars brother. His manic comedy is in full effect as the big Hollywood film star, and you can't help but chuckle whenever he's on-screen. It all centres about Steve Martin's character making a film, staring Eddie Murphy, but without his knowledge. So him and his crew creep around, following him and setting him up at various locations, while the camera is there to capture every moment. The look on Eddie's face in some of the scenes as he's pestered by "aliens" is hillarious. Terrance Stamp (i think!) plays a good role too, not a funny one, but it's an essential part of the story, as he's Eddie's mental counsellor?!? Rent it now and check it out!
