The third and sadly final series featuring those two disgusting individuals, Richie Richard and Eddie Hitler. Although perhaps in places not up to the standards of the first two series, these three episodes still contain many hilarious moments and quotable lines.
For me, Bottom was always superior to the Young Ones - whilst very funny in parts, the Young Ones was a little too weird in places, and the pointless musical interludes spoilt it - thankfully in Bottom some prat like Jools Holland never pops up and belts out a number...
Apparently a fourth season was written but turned down by the BBC - by then a Politically Correct organisation run by the Labour Party - a disgraceful decision but hardly surprising. Maybe if Mayall and Edmondson had written in a black lesbian disabled character it would have got made...
'Hole' - Richie and Eddie get stranded on the ferris wheel at the local funfair - things could be worse... or could they, the wheel is due to be demolished next morning!
'Terror' - It's Halloween, so the lads hit upon the genius idea to go trick or treating to raise money for a big Halloween party...
'Break' - Richie and Eddie are preparing for their holiday in erm... sunny Doncaster. Now where did they put those rubber johnnies?
'Dough' - Eddie makes fake money in his bedroom which unfortunately brings them to the attention of the local counterfeiter...
'Finger' - Richie and Eddie steal a car and a honeymoon suite in Wolverhampton - unfortunately this means one of them has to be the 'bride'...
'Carnival' - The lads watch the local carnival riots from the safety of their window and then decide to do some looting sorry, shopping of their own.
