Continuing on from a great first series the show keeps up to its previous high standard of comedy and drama. Full of relevant issues and controversial ethical dilemmas the episode plots are just as interesting as before and the characters just as likable.
After such a good response to the first series, the second series pushes the boundaries a little bit more. More sex, more out of court action, more relationship issues, more memorable moments "Think about it, pray about it." and more episodes (27 up from 17).
Good, thought provoking comedy again, with some new characters and old favorites. A definite watch for those who liked the first series.
Plot: BOSTON LEGAL revolves around the Boston litigation law firm of Crane, Poole, and Schmidt, in particular two eccentric and flawed attorneys, Alan Shore and Denny Crane. Shore, an unscrupulous and wily ambulance chaser and womaniser finds an uneasy alliance with Crane, a bombastic, self-aggrandising, and occasionally eccentric elder lawyer. Despite their ethical and emotional deficiencies, Shore and Crane usually find themselves fighting on the right side, as they take up cases that no one else is willing to touch.

Despite their ethical and emotional deficiencies, Shore and Crane usually find themselves fighting on the right side, as they take up cases that no one else is willing to touch. The firm is rounded out by Shirley Schmidt, a lawyer who joined the firm despite having a past with both Crane and Shore, as well as Brad Chase (Mark Valley), Denise Bauer (Julile Bowen), and Jeffrey Coho (Craig Bierko).
