eccentrics who numbered musical genius Neil "Rutles" Innes and the downright dangerous Keith Moon drinking-partner Vivian Stanshell in their midst? Their 1967 debut Gorilla is their finest--and funniest--moment. Cool jazz versions of "Rule Britannia" nestle up to scary make-over pieces ("Look Out, There's A Monster Coming"). While a vicious interpretation of "The Sound Of Music" runs riot against prime PI thriller spoofs ("Big Shot"). The legendary "The Intro And the Outro" foresaw the arrival of Mike Oldfield's Tubular Bells by a good few days. ("Death Cab For Cutie", incidentally, was the name the band took in the nightclub scene in The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour film.) This is a record that has everything ... banjos, tubas, glockenspiels, satire, melodies, Beatles wigs and the odd timely fart. --Everett True

...First...my qualifications: I have been watching Scooby now for over 20 years. I am afraid I'm not quite old enough to have been around when it first debuted. My friends say I am a fanatic and I keep enough Scooby paraphenalia around my desk that people say it's closer to a shrine.
The reason why it's important to remember all of this is because I write this review more than a little biased. However, I can say in all honesty that I LOVED the movie. I thought everyone involved did a pretty good job at keeping it true to its roots, and that's what I liked the most. Personally, I think that producing a Scooby-Doo movie puts someone at odds between making a movie that mimics a Scooby cartoon, or making a movie that will appeal to a wide audience. The two are just not the same.
If you look at what most people feel is 'classic' Scooby-Doo...

There are two audiovisual puzzles to solve which are.The scooby doo monsters unleashed challenge and The mystery of the missing pants I myself have not tried these puzzles so i cant really tell you anything about them but when i do i will update.
This film is not for a certain age group it is fun for all the family to watch.
If you were to compare this with the first scooby doo well this one is just as good if not better

...as they danced.
This is a film of an era long gone and probably never to
return unless there is a major world wide power cut. It is a
mushy, slushy, grab at your hanky kind of film but the Glen's
music was also very sentimental.
Only Hollywood could dream up such a poignant ending as Helen
Miller sat at home with friends and two adopted children at
Xmas time listening to the Glen Miller band broadcasting from
France. There couldn't have been a dry eye in the house as
Glen's death was announced and the band played Little Brown
Jug a long time favourite of Helen's.
Although the music is over half a century old it still holds a
magical appeal for some of the kids of today but surely must
live forever in the hearts of people from that era....
