Advantages: Excellent sound, great concert Disadvantages: None
with the same enthusiasm as 25 years ago.
Indeed, all the band give nothing less than 100% as always, and give a slick, perfect performance throughout the concert.
I was really pleased to discover that my favourite BonJovi track, the epic 'Dry County' was featured here. The highlight of the concert I saw a couple of weeks previously to this, was seeing this song performed live, as they had never performed it at earlier concerts I had attended.
It is the highlight of this DVD for me.
Other stand out performances here include 'Blaze of Glory' which features a brilliant guitar solo from Richie Sambora, and also again when Richie takes centre stage to sing 'I'll Be There For You' which has became one of the highlights of every BonJovi tour in recent years. Filmed on a hot June 25th under the gaze of 72,000 fans this DVD finds all members on top form as they rattle through BonJovi standards and then new These Days album tracks (which are now standards) There is a real energy around the stadium which ...
This is the first entry in a series I shall be doing covering my top five tracks by each of my individual favourite bands. It will feature the likes of Nirvana, Guns ?n? Roses, Green Day and U2, covering the aspects of the music that I like/dislike and my personal top ten by each band, and without wishing to start a battle - comments of agreement/disagreement are more than welcome. As my love for Nirvana has been more than over-exasperated this last week, I shall begin with a band that were, in truth, the first true rock band in my life. Where it may have been Nirvana that enthused me and became my musical obsession, it was BonJovi?s 1988 album ?New Jersey? that got me into the genre, something I am eternally grateful for and will always have interest in the band for that very reason. Where Jon has tried his solo career (with little ...
