Advantages: A good retropective of 70's music Disadvantages: Only an appetiser as to what could become an extended series
...I dived into the store when this DVD was first released, and although somewhat disappointed in the lack of more of the highlights from this very influential TV programme.
I remember having a load of VHS copies of these programmes from the 70's, and looked forward to remembering some of my favourites.
Nevertheless, this collection is one for the music collector and showed some very unique early footage of many now famous bands.
Bob Harris's sexy drones add that extra touch of flavour to these highlights, which include the first time Bob Marley was seen on TV, through to the Alex Harvey Band almost blowing Bob off his chair.
Then we saw Little Feat in all their glory through to the legendary OGWT live concerts featuring the likes of Lynyrd Skynyrd.
Good stuff, but here's hoping that the Beeb will bring out more from this excellent...

Advantages: Colourful, fun, sweet Disadvantages: Not too much to hold adult viewers' attention

Advantages: Nine SpongeBob shows on one DVD, very funny shows, DVD extras Disadvantages: You won't want to wash the dishes with a sponge after watching this DVD!
...I found myself sporting my SpongeBob boxers again! I could not help myself. I popped in the Nickelodeon DVD and the boy freshly adorned with SpongeBob slippers and T-shirt sat down to watch the 110 minutes of SpongeBob SquarePants: Lost at Sea. It is a collection of nine episodes of the show headlined with the double length show The Sponge who could fly.
The magic that is SpongeBob
As already stated, this is a collection from the show. It is a little easier to break down the shows that make up the DVD.
The Sponge who could fly: This is the double length episode that headlines the DVD. It is also the famed "lost" episode, ala The Honeymooners. The show is introduced by Patchy the Pirate and his every present pal, Polly.
Impassioned to experience the jellyfish of Bikini Bottom, SpongeBob concocts a master plan to learn to fly like...
