Blade is a mutant vampire born immortal from his mother who was turned why she was pregnant and so he was given the strength and power of a vampire but he does not have the blood lust and so he set forth to destroy that which had killed his mum and that which had cursed him.
The story starts with two camps of vampire the first who are the elders who are the first vampires long lived and pure the other born from humans enslaved to being vampires and then a legend of a super vampire, and so the new remove the old and set forth in becoming vampire gods, in steps blade who hacks and slashes his way through them all until he faced his nemesis.
In short if you like a lot of action and are a fan of vampire shows like Buffy or Angel then this is one film you will enjoy though the ending does not go with the rest of the film, and the alterative ending found on DVD is even worse this aside a damn good film.

Advantages: It has an all star cast, its action packed, and is a never ending thrill ride, with surprised all of the way. Disadvantages: I dont know of too many big disadvantages.
