When we last saw our fellow vampire hunter blade, he had destroyed the reapers and the vampire’s latest chance to become daywalkers. As you know by now that blade is a half vampire and half human so he has all the strengths and no of the weaknesses apart from the thirst (this is the urge to feed off humans and drink they blood) and is the vampires greatest enemies. But now the vampires have found the father of the vampire race, Dracula or drake as he now called has been awaken to a miserable vampire future, the reason why they have resurrected his evil back on the earth is because he was perfect he has no weaknesses and all the strengths with the added ability to form into different people. Now the vampires have launched a smear campaign on the daywalker blade and now have made blade into the worlds most wanted. Now blade must join forces with the nightstalkers, Hannibal king a cocky person who always has a very funny side to him. And ambgrel who is whistler daughter (I know I thought his family was killed by a vampire!) together they make a trinity, but time is now running out, when the vampires crack the key to be able to walk in daylight without aids like they have to and the tables will turn for good for the vampires. However the nightstalkers have the aid of chemical warfare, they have invented a special type of retro virus that can instantly infect a vampire and kill it, it also has the ability to multiply as long as they is a host (however with the thousands of vampires in the world the virus is going to have it’s work cut out for it) however they is the possibly to infect blade and kill him but really he does not care as he was born ready, now it all or nothing in this finally climate battle against good and evil who will win. Well that for me to know and you to find out.
Humour
As ever in these can of films they is a comical types of jokes, can of a lot like in terminator3 it always hit you in your face when you least expect it, mainly it is Hannibal king making up the jokes but sometimes blade joins in with his, also with the surprise of a couple of new vampire dogs.
Violence level
At times it does show a great deal of violence with blood going all over the place and place you probably didn’t think could be there.
Fighting scenes
With very detailed fighting scenes showing no mistakes in the amount of quality you see, the way that the vampires turn to dust is amazing and the final fight is truly great. They really tried in this film to look it best and it currently the greatest amount of special effects I have seen in a long time.
OverallThis is a very enjoyable film to see, with new looks into the vampire world this newest addition to the prized blade trilogy you could not ask for a better film as it will keep you in you seat begging for more. Humour 5/5 Violence 4/5 Fighting scenes 5/5 Overall rating 5/5 Enjoy!
