This is blade 3 trinity the 3rd and I think final in the series. I say final as I’ve not heard about any plans to make a 4th one and who makes 4 films based on a comic hero....no one. But I have heard a bit of inside information and they might have an idea to make a film about night stalkers which is a gang of people that hunt down vampires. For any of you that have not seen the film yet.
Now this film is what I call a master piece I love it! I think it’s brilliant it’s got all the right characters in it to make it a great film it has: Wesley Snipes who plays blade, he is a bit funnier in this one as he does get angry and stuff and the other characters make it funny. then there is Ryan Reynolds who plays Hannibal king, he is the funny man he is such a laugh, this guy is what makes the film great he has got a good sense of humour and even when faced in life or death situations he cant help piss them off by making to audience laugh. He is one of the night
stalkers. Then there’s Kris Kristofferson who plays Abraham whistler he is just like off the first one really nothing much just a bit witty on this one. Well a bit wittier. then Dominic Purcell who plays drake aka Dracula he is the first vampire that was ever on the earth he has been in bed for a few thousands of years.....he must need the toilet. Also there is parker Posey she is the person who called upon drake to kill blade as he is becoming a threat to them......(and its taken 3 films for them to figure that out) She is funny as well AND I’m guessing by the way her and Hannibal king talk and stuff they use to date lol. Jessica Biel who plays Abigail whistler...whistlers daughter she is one of the night stalkers she is sexy kicks ass and very funny, just what every man wants from a women lol. Last but not least he is not famous for acting but for wrestling iiitttsss triple H, he is just one of the right hand men of parker Posey.
the film starts off with the awakening of drake. they need him to kill blade because he is really strong and killing everyone but so to make it just that little bit harder he gets set up by parker Posey and she gets a picture of him killing a human and now he is wanted by the FBI so he has got vampires, drake and the FBI hunting his arse down now so expect some action, now I’ve not got a clue why they get the police after him when they have just summoned drake the most powerful vampire in the world and the first but I’m guessing to do with daylight and stuff but drake can withstand daylight without blowing up. As well as the vampires getting help blade also gets some help by a team of vampire hunters called the night stalkers a team of expert vampire slayers with only one mission to rid the world of vampires. The ending I find is excellent it took me till the next day to understand what it was that drake said and what it meant.
The comedy in this film is just great it’s not just the funny quotes and punch lines in this film its the little things that most people don’t pay attention to. for example when you watch or if you have seen it look out for the posits on the side of the pc screen that says "king owes me 20" and when Hannibal comes to save someone they are in a police place and if your a visitor you have to wear a name sticker well it says "hello my name is" already and you have to put your name you see everyone with their names then when Hannibal busts thru the window you see his name tag sayings "hello my name is fuck you" just such a laugh. He is really the person who is keeping the film up on the comedy part. Because all films have got to have comedy and some films spoil it but this film has captured it very well.
Now the special effects are quite impressive Abigail’s arc looks good. the vampires sort of just look the same as the ones in blade 2 so nothing special about them dying but there is a lot of cool stuff that goes on.
The soundtrack I would have to say was pretty weak really but that’s having everything perfect would not make the perfect film that’s what makes it such a good film. Though I have to say you don’t realise most of these bad things in the film as you are to busy trying to see who is killing who and how cool it is.
