Advantages: One Of The Best Live Concerts Performed By Eric Clapton Et Al. Disadvantages: None, Unless You Don't Like Blues Or Rock Music Or Eric Clapton Or Live Music.
...' acoustic notes. These don't immediately become a recognized song of his. That's what I like so much about his music. Every time he plays a live concert, even though he might be playing a popular song from the past, he always makes them sound fresh or new. You don't get an exact replica from an album. To me this is great, like hearing something for the first time, but knowing it isn't going to be played or sung badly. Well this track goes into one of his best well known songs, but sung as the MTV "Unplugged" version of Layla!
1) Layla - Clear, crisp, laid-back! This first track makes you feel comfortable, with it's bass guitar, light harmonica, drum beat, keyboard with some trumpet, saxophone backing, oozing with a bluesing, slightly jazzy in the vocal department, rendition of probably his most well known song.

Advantages: 2 hours of the liveliest rock performance ever captured on DVD + extras Disadvantages: None... well, I guess you'll need a DVD player.
...list for the DVD:
1. Megalomaniac. Released as a single and is the opening track on "A crow left of the Murder". A great opening to a live show with the slightly weird and distinctive intro sounds and effects. Cracking chorus with really high notes Brandon manages to hit no sweat.
2. Nice To Know You. This is the opening track from their "Morning View" album, pulled off nicely.
3. Idiot Box. Song 4 on "S.C.I.E.N.C.E", has a heavy guitar part and a corking melody which you can't help but sing along to when it's being played live.
4. Just a Phase. I went through a phase of skipping this song more often than not but, surprise surprise, that was 'just a phase'. I love the way the chorus the 1st time round is gentle and when you expect the same the second time round Brandon, instead of whispering the word phase, sings out loud in a way only...

Advantages: Funny, inline with the series of little britain Disadvantages: live, different from the normal showing of the series, some of the same stuff
...Britain, Britain, Britain, Live, Live, Live, so after seeing this show live in a theatre, I thought it was really funny and hoped it would come out on dvd, so here it is, eagerly waited for.
Little Britain Live, sees the old favourites brought to the stage by the shows creators, Matt Lucas and David Walliams, with the voice of Tom Baker, and supporting acting from Anthony Head. The costume changes are quick and were very much like they were live (no editing for the dvd) and the back drop is cleverly desgined, all in all a well put together show. If you like the tv and radio series then this is a good thing to watch, it fits in well with the show, the sketches make sense, and it sees the return of some of the favourite characters from series one and two, aswell as some of the newer characters from the later series.
Aswell as the show...
