...Jackie Mason A Night at the Opera is, how can I put this? You either like Jackie Mason, or you don't.
A Night at The Opera was recorded live at The RoyalOperaHouse, Covent Garden. Everything is grist to Jackie Mason's mill. The camera crew? No problem. A member of the audience heckling because he couldn't hear? "He must be a Jew," explained Mason, "because no Gentile would complain. He would just complain at home, after the show."
It turned out that there was a problem, with his radio microphone ,which was sorted with the appearance of an ordinary microphone on a stand.
What topics are off limits to this acerbically witty former Rabi? Nothing. After going off on a witty, well-thought diatribe, salted with the very occasional "F" word, merely as punctuation to emphasise an important point, Mason would look at the audience...

Advantages: Its only fools and horses! Disadvantages: Not worth the money, the worst of the specials!
...her to. She ends up throwing up and gets them thrown out of the opera.
Rodney gets invited to the Dukes house to a shooting weekend and you guessed....... Del turns up with Uncle Albert! Del innocently manages to rake havoc! And of course he manages to twist things and ends up bagging himself a grand regardless of Rodneys feelings!
This film is 58 minutes long. Any longer and I am sure I would have died of boredom!
The age rating for this film is PG - Contains mild language. Region 2 and 4.

Advantages: Wonderful presentation Disadvantages: Once you have seen the stage version, it is not the same.
...of his childhood and at least part of his adult life living in the depths of the Paris Operahouse as a recluse. A genius of art, music and mind this young man slowly goes mad and the genius turns to madness. (As it does with so many of us! ;o) )
Back in the 20th century Christine, a young chorus girl, is discovered by the Phantom and is taught to sing by the masked musician and over the years develops a wonderful voice worthy of the lead in the main attraction.
Obsession soon comes to reign and the phantom in intent on having Christine to himself and sets about to woo her and make her his own.
If she is not going to go voluntarily she is going to be his anyway!
The story ends up with a fight for Christine between her friends and the Phantom and his need to the 'Joys of the flesh'.
