Holiday Inn Express Leeds the way to good service.

Advantages: Excellent self-service breakfast. Clean rooms and good facilities.
Disadvantages: Rooms are a bit too small generally. Bit expensive.

On my trips to Leeds I always book into the Holiday Inn Express, chiefly because it is the closest hotel to where I need to be. Within this review I refer to my last experience of staying there about 10 months ago. Outside the building doesn't look too attractive, and the entrance is a bit basic with its blue doors and plants. However, when you make your way through the doors, the lobby is much more impressive. As I approached the counter to sign in, I was greeted by a member of the staff politely within a few seconds. I had already booked so it was just a matter of signing the piece of paper and taking my key card for my room. I was on the 6th of its 7 floors and being rather lazy, decided to take one of the 2 lifts they have. GO TO ZANZIBAR.

Advantages: Amazingly beautiful and peaceful
Disadvantages: little nightlife, little shopping.

What an Island! I went to Zanzibar last year with the rest of my family where we stayed in the MAPENZI BEACH CLUB HOTEL (on the east coast) over Christmas. These 10 days spent in the sun where some of the most relaxeing and enjoyable of my life. The landscape and scenery where awesome as well as peaceful. From the paradise blue and white beaches of the coast to the ragtag beauty of Stone town (the several hundred year old, Unesco World heritage city), there was a lot to explore and see. Don't miss the slave memorials and statues, the colonial house museum as well as the small streets and local shops (where you can put your price haggling skills to good use.) Why Not Spend Your Holiday With This Inn

Advantages: The Songs, the dances, pure good, clean fun
Disadvantages: thin plot, hardly ever gets on TV anymore

I bet you're all wondering why a Jewish girl would be writing a review about the movie where the famous song "White Christmas" was premiered (and won an Oscar for). Furthermore, why would someone who lives in Israel (and writes for a UK site) write a review of a movie that focuses on American as well as Christian holidays? Well, despite all these drawbacks, if you're a fan of Fred Astaire's dancing or Bing Crosby's singing or Irving Berlin's songs or any combination or all three, then this has just got to be one of the finest movies and a must to own. And while I don't have any traditions for Christmas, on New Year's Eve this is the film I must watch. But it's hardly ever aired on TV, and I've actually never seen it aired on Israeli television.
