Addictive and long rhythm heaven!

Advantages: Variety of challenges and loads of unlockable content.
Disadvantages: Kiddie graphics and no multiplayer, but hey, it fits!

find yourself stuck on the first challenge. When you collect enough medals you can unlock a rhythm game or an endless game which are really entertaining. Also the game can challenge you random when you finish one mini-game or another with challenging to "perfect" a mini-game and you will unlock an award. Perfect means you have to complete a rhythm challenge without a single mistake. This game did not get boring to me after one month of playing and still is not - i still have to unlock awards and rhythm games. I just love 'em ! After i completed all the three rows of mini games, another three rows appeared below them, and after i completed those too, you kind of finish the game, but you unlock four more rows on each corner, with the same challenges as the ones you've played until the end, but more harder. Rhythm of Life

Advantages: access to well kept pop secret
Disadvantages: no hit singles

The name Paul Haig is almost always absent from any eighties hall of fame ,certainly from the electro pop perspective which prevailed at the time of this release in July 83,but for those in the know who might have spent some of their hard squandered student grant on the perennial and seemingly eternal N>M>E the name Paul Haig held a god like status for fans of Scottish indie legends Josef .K of whom Paul Haig was lead singer and founding member,this unique and groundbreaking record was Haigs first solo release, a full two years after the demise of Josef K. Kylie finds the rhythm

Advantages: Stronger vocals than previous albums
Disadvantages: some of Kylie's self-penned songs dont hit the spot

Its nice to see that Kylie became more involved in her music by this point, as the kiddie-element present in her two early albums are long gone in exchange for a maturer poppy sound. There are 7 excellent tracks, all of which could have been singles, and its just a shame that Kylie's self-penned material wasn't such a dynamic contribution. Thats not to say it doesn't have its moments. Her own lyrics are decent enough. Its just that they date an album that otherwise would have remained a sublime reference to a time line in her career. Rhythm Of Love is available on CD, but those of you still collecting vinyl, it did get a mainstream 12" release at the time, and can still be found on sites such as eil.com at ridiculous ...
