BILLABONG ODYSSEY
To start off with I would like to say that I am not normally Billagongs biggest fan. I fell the are making a lot of money selling over priced clothing by using surfings image. However I would have to admit they make a good film.

There are some people in this country who think surfing is a bit sissy, (normally skaters). This film will make them realise that there is a lot more to surfing than they think and even on a general scale is probably the most dangerous sport due to the unreliability and power of the sea.

SCENES
This film contains some of the best scenes I have ever scene without using any special effects
I saw this film in a small cinema in Devon, even on the tiny screen the whole cinema was practically off their seats at the spectacularness of the opening scene. The film starts with footage of a guy being towed onto a 100 ft wave; as the camera zooms out the guy starts to look like a tiny little man surfing down the side of a wall of water. It is amazing, i have it on my computer and watch it over and over again.
TO FINISH
Watching this film will make you just want to get your board and run the the beach.
However I would say on a negative note, this film was much longer that in needed to be. Although it is great, there is a large chunk of the film where you are just watching people surf average wave which you see at the beach; and after the fantastic opening which leaves you on the edge of your seat there is a while where not much really happens.
This is a fairly new film so will generally still be priced at about £16.
