Advantages: Brilliant storyline, brilliant bikes, brilliant music.... Disadvantages: Could be a bit more believeable
I'm one of those apparently 'rare' commodities known as a female biker. I adore motorbikes (I actually have a tattoo on my leg of a motorbike), especially fast, sporty bikes, like the ones shown in this film.
Now I guess that makes me a bit one sided - much of the time I watch this film looking purely for the bikes and waiting to hear the gorgeous sounds they make. I apologise for this, and I guess I better say from the start that if your not remotely interested in bikes at all, not even the look of them, and are simply looking for a nice easy storyline, then THIS IS NOT THE FILM FOR YOU!
Ok, so what is the storyline?
Well its about a young boy named Kid, whose father is killed in a freak motorbike accident. His father was a mechanic for 'Smoke', the king of Cali - illegal street racing; and although it is never said we get ...
Advantages: easy to watch, story line isn't too taxing, fast bikes and fast women Disadvantages: if bikles aren't your thing you would rather watch paint dry, poor acting in some places
I hope this review is helpful and gives some insight into the film however if all else fails watch it yourself and give a better opinion than i have.
First of all let me say i love this film, i am an insane bike lover and ride all year in every weather condition. Needless to say i may be a bit biased, however for the sake of everyone else i will try and give a perfectly middle of the road opinion of this film.
I first watched this film about 5 months ago when i rented it from my local video shop, and let me tell you it might as well have been in the bargain bin. I have since purchased it on dvd and still love it.
So this film was never going to be a huge hit, just like any other film thats compared to "fast and the furious".
The street racing, drugs, money franchise of films is slowly burning itself out, however i never get ...
Advantages: Refreshing, for the Day or Night Disadvantages: None
out . This is not the type of thing to wear to a business meeting, on a romantic date*, or on the pull** - it's an informal fragrance.
Armani Mania is not cheap, 100ml Eau de Toilette spray will set you back around £30-40 on the high street. For me smelling good is a priority - lord knows it makes up for me not always looking good, so it's a price worth paying!
As much as I enjoy wearing this, my preference still lies with Acqua Di Gio. Acqua is instantly recognisable, and is slightly more serious, therefore more versatile. On the other hand, this is a less common fragrance, so is unlikely to remind ladies of ex-boyfriends - something that happens worryingly frequently with Acqua!
Happy squirting!
*(P.S. For hot dates, Alfred Dunhill's Desire will have the ladies weak at the knees!)
