...Being from Inverness, there is a bit of a fascination with LochNess and the monster legend for all of us locals. I am a firm believer that there is something in the Loch, but no-one knows what is there. I have visited the Loch many times over the years and have never seen anything,
So when I say this DVD on sale on Amazon for the princely sum of £5.48, I just had to buy it out of curiosity! And not to mention the fact that it stars Brian Krause and Paul McGillion (two actors that make me go a bit weak at the knees!).
***Synopsis***

Advantages: Good for a laugh, even though you're not supposed to laugh at it Disadvantages: See above. It's supposed to be taken seriously, but it's a joke.
...Absolute rubbish. Rubbish, rubbish, rubbish! If I could, then I'd give it zero... and that would still be generous. But let me explain what it's about before I continue slating it.
Some professor (Patrick Bergin of 'Patriot Games' and 'Sleeping With the Enemy' fame) and his team are up in bonny Scotland investigating the area that they suspect spawned the famous LochNess monster, Nessie. Um, and that's about it.
What was Patrick Bergin thinking? He's been in some decent films, so I can only guess that he was paid a lot of money (or owed someone a very big favour) to appear in this load of guff. Director Chuck Comisky must have been having a laugh. If I were Scottish, I'd be outraged by his depiction of Scotland and the Scottish. Typical patronising American ignorance.
This drivel is classed as 'horror', for Pete's sake! It even has...

Advantages: Great animation, available to rent Disadvantages: Bit boring
...Scooby doo and the LochNess Monster is one of the newer Scooby doo full length feature cartoon movies that has recently been released on DVD. I would love to say that I just bought this for the kids but I am an avid collector of all things Scooby doo including the DVDs- however the kids did watch it so I can include their opinions in the review!
CAST AND PLOT
Obviously the film is animated but the main characters are
Scooby doo (voice by Frank Welker)
Shaggy (voice by Casey Kasem)
Velma (voice by Mindy Cohn)
Fred (voice by Frank Welker)
Daphne (voice by Grey Delisle)
As I'm sure most people are aware, these 5 characters are members of the Mystery Inc club who travel all over the place in their van stumbling upon and solving mysteries. Scooby is the scardey-cat big dog, Shaggy his scaredy-cat friend. Fred is the more courageous man...
