and effort went into the making of this film and the costume and sets were all very well made and looked authentic. I think the special effects which were used were also very good and none of them managed to look out of place.
The music for me was indeed very good and I loved the tracks which were placed throughout the film. I think they managed to add to the emotions and feel of the film and for me I was always able to tell when the bad men were coming as the music would suddenly change. The one track which really does stand out for me is the Brian Adams song which stayed for what seems a lifetime at the top spot in the charts. I did notice that the music without the lyrics was played a lot in the film and not just at the end.
As I said at the beginning of this review, I am only reviewing the film which I do not have on DVD anymore so I ...
A family move to Beverly Hills following a win on the lottery. 300 million dollars finds their old lifestyle clashing with their new neighbours and events are set for a clash in cultures.
When the Washingtons, a family from a poor rural town, suddenly win $300 million in the lottery, they gather up their things--and their wacky Aunt Girt--and move to ritzy Beverly Hills. Entering this new world of caviar and cocktail parties, the family must adjust to being uncomfortable fish out of water. When one of the family falls in love with a wealthy neighbour, things are turned upside-down. A hip-hop version of the conventional "rags to riches" story, BEVERLY HOOD is a hilariously irreverent comedy starring past and present members of Destiny's Child.
