Best Man DVD

Advantages: Great comedy romance chick flick
Disadvantages: not one for the guys - too girly

...Well its all about olly (Stuart Townsend)- a struggling writer who is asked to be best man at a wedding of his old college friend. He falls in love with the bride to be (Amy Smart) before he realises who she is. Olly's current best friend (Seth Green)- who despises the groom to be, decides to try to mess up the relationship and the wedding to help olly get the girl. Stuart Townsend plays a brilliant part as olly and is very cute and loveable. The movie is your typical chick flick romance - with plenty of comedy moments from seth green. It doesnt really compare to the likes of serendipity or bridget jones but is a very watchable film. Especially if you are home alone for the night with a takeaway pizza and a bottle of wine. ITs not really the kind of chick flick that the bloke in your life will enjoy - so watch it alone.... Read review

...Fantastic review of the 2004/2005 Season on DVD. The season where Arsenal won the FA Cup against Man Utd, and went 49 Games unbeaten. One of the best football related DVD's I have watched, the menus are easy to navigate and the quality and choice of the clips from matches selected is outstanding! There are a number of interviews with current players, past players, the manager, and backroom staff. The DVD gives you an insight into just how much work went into this amazing season, both on the pitch and behind the sceens. This DVD can be watched be anyone, of all ages, even if you are not technolocally minded, it is that simple to use!! Would definatly recommend to any Arsenal fan or football fans alike!... There is certainly no "bad" episode among them, and I thoroughly recomend it. This is a one disc DVD which has loads of special features too including the usual interactive menus, scene access and Rembrandts theme song vid, there is also "Friends Goes To London" and "Friends On Location In London", both worth a watch. The DVD is now available very cheaply and everywhere from around £6.99, and is more than certainly value for money, whatever price you can get it at.. Enjoy!... Read review

...This has to be one of the best Bond movies, after Live and Let Die, anyway. It has a great theme song, and a fantastic bad guy, Scaramanga (the man with the Golden Gun) with a superfluous third nipple! Scaramanga is played by Christopher Lee, better known for playing Dracula in Hammer Horror movies! There is plenty of action throughout, and the ending is superb, set in Scaramanga's little arena, with plenty of mirrors etc. If you haven't seen this one, it's well worth your time. It's Bond at his best!... Read review
