Advantages: Hilarious comedy cartoon, featuring the one and only MIKE MYERS! Disadvantages: It took ages to release and if your watching it in the cinema there is loads of adverts.
...My visit to the cinema started off slowly with a couple of hundred adverts and a chatty couple sitting behind me.
Once the actual film had started the couple behind settled down and i got comfy with my large bottle of pepsi and popcorn.
I thought the beginning was very clever, the use of a story book tied in with the last film worked very well.
Shortly after the story book scene, the audience see Shrek and Fiona on their honey-moon! I found this scene very touching and cute!
I will not take you through all of the scenes but I assure you that the film itself is very enjoyable for all the family.
Some parts of the play are very like the last film, for example both films end with donkey singing a song, and obviously they both have a happy ending.
I would recommend that you see this in the cinema beforegoing out and buying it on dvd...

Advantages: LOTRs history all in one place Disadvantages: Nothing Special
...in detail LOTR's from the view point of its fans, there are clips of conventions and interviews of "ringers" etc.
Dominic Monaghan voices over a fair chunk of the film which is a nice touch, what better way to examine the way LOTR's has shaped peoples lives than to hire an actor who breathed new life into the books in recent years.
Sadly I can't honestly give this an outstanding positive review, it's "nice" and that's it. You would expect something like this on the DVD Extras for the original films and you do, there are stacks of documentaries on the DVDs, having to pay a separate price for this DVD seems sort of cheeky.
If you can get it cheap, have recently watched the films and are a total fan, then I think you'd enjoy this a lot. If you're a casual viewer then you'd be better off going after the original movies, otherwise beforeyou...

...This movie is a true classic recreation of the award-winning book, there are excellent special effects and nice music ambiance to give everyone a scare. The story is probably one of mystery and reason, it gives you always wondering and thinking who is the real descendant of Slytherin thus giving everyone no idea of the true villain is. I won't spoil anything for everyone but it seems that Voldemort is back and isn't going to die without a fight without killing Harry Potter and his friends. This movie is highly recommended but you should watch the movie before this which is the Sorcerer's Stone to know what the setting and plot is. All in all this is a movie you should go and buy now! THIS DVD SET IS FOR YOU!...

Advantages: Great for a Xena fan Disadvantages: not enough dvd extra's
...This Xena boxset on dvd is great if you are a Xena fan. The episodes are brilliant to watch and personally i am going to collect on these. Though for a dvd its quality is sometimes not that dis-similar to video tapes and theres not really any extra's except for a picture gallery on every third dvd.
The bottom line is if you know what Xena is about and watched it on tv then you won't be disapponited but if you like plenty of extra's for the extra cash you spend on dvd then you will be disappointed there.
The main feature of the dvd, the episodes tells you the great beginning of a true friendship that is growing all time and that survives whatever nature or the gods throws at it.
The episode are fun yet sometimes tense and i personally think they could be watched over again rather than like with some tv programs once where once is enough...

Advantages: Good extras Disadvantages: Disapointing film
...The Blair Witch project was the most built up overated film that came out last year and you couldn't help but feel disappointed but all that aside the dvd is excellent with lots of features that are worth watching its good but the best way to watch this film is to forget everything you have been told about it close to curtains and watch it alone and you will enjoy it for what it is and everyone should at least watch it once beforeyougo out into the woods !!!!!1...

Advantages: The Whole series in one set Disadvantages: Getting the DVDs a little bit of a problem.
...I am not going to comment on the episodes in the box set. Most of the poeple that will buy the product will be Buffy fans and will know all about them.
Needless to say - season 2 of Buffy was the season that spawned Spike (which is a good thing).
What i will comment on is the DVD box set. You are presented with a 'Book' style case. This contains the six DVD's that contain 4 episodes per disk. It is a solid case, and should last years. However, the problem is that the compartments that hold the DVD's are a little tight. You will have to be careful when removing them, as you may just scratch the DVD's on the sturdy pockets.
There is also a small booklet just before the DVD's that contains all the information about the episodes (who stared in them etc).
My only other grumble about the set is that the box size is a different size...
