...-lines. With the phone a friend you have a pre-set 'automated' bunch but on the whole they seem quite useless, bit like my real friends then.
This year the 3rd edition of this game is out, but next to this a whole raft of interactive dvd's have come on to the market. I have picked the 'Test the Nation' dvd for this year. But to mention a few others there are:
- Interactive Tely Addicts
- Interactive Bull's Eye
- QI Interactive
- Interactive Beat the Intro 2
- Garry Lineker - Football Challenge Interactive
- Liverpool, Manchester, Arsenal,........Interactive Quiz
- etc, etc, etc,.....
I would say buy one yourself to play with outlaws over Xmas, you know it beats talking to them!
Or give one to a friend ;0)...

Advantages: Not unspeakably boring the first time round Disadvantages: Far too easy, no repeatability, not very fun
...Do you love music from all decades?? Think your trivia scope is something to be admired?? Want to impress your friends?? Would you like a fun-filled and raucous evening of shouting answers at a top notch DVD-based music quiz??
If so, do NOT buy this game.
My journey with this piece of excrement begins when I was introduced to Scene It?. The much loved movie trivia DVD quiz blew my mind. I just loved the concept. However, movies are really not my forte, so I failed miserably in the quest to win. Music, however, is my life.
I have a mind full of song lyrics and random useless facts regarding band line-ups, album tracks and producers that I seem to have amassed over the years. Needless to say, in a group of hardcore movie buffs, I wanted a game that I could enjoy and kick their collective asses at.

Advantages: Interactive, Hidden sections, Great Live Videos Disadvantages: Expensive, Not one you'll watch over and over
...It Comes, Catch the Sun, The Man Who Told Everything, There Goes the Fear, Pounding, and Caught By the River.
Also on the DVD there are a few short films - 'A Very peak Practice - 2000 Tour Intro Film', 'Episode One - The Last Intro - 2002 tour intro film', a hidden Sub Sub documentary, and a Doves documentary. There are also some photo galleries and screensaver and the suchlike for if you watch the DVD on your computer.
Playing the DVD
I apologise for the list-like form of this section of review, but I think it's worth laying out exactly what this DVD contains or else my review will become a bit confusing! When you load the DVD you are presented firstly with a parental guidance message and then secondly with a rather confusing screen that appears to have no options on it.
