...My son of 2 years has been a fan of bear in the big blue house since he was about 8 months old. For those of you who haven't heard of Bear, he is a character made by Jim Henson and he has got a lot of friends who live with him you have Ojo a bear cub, Pip and Pop a couple of otters, Treelo a limah, Tutter the mouse and lots more. This video is fantastic, as it has lots of singing and dancing and all of bears favourite songs.
For those of you who don't know Bear was live in the uk this year and this is where the video comes from, it is all based on Tutter's surprise birthday party and the organising of it the songs featured include the welcome song, what's in the Mail, Whats that smell, the birthday song and the most famous one The bear Cha Cha Cha.

Advantages: Amazing scenery Disadvantages: Week story and can easily get bored watching
...The Bear is one of my husbands favourite films and he has been trying to get it on DVD for a very long time so I decided I would treat him for when he returned home from Afghan. The only trouble with getting it for him is that he wanted me to watch it with him!
THE FILM
The film is set in the mountains of British Columbia in 1885.
The film is based on a bear cub who looses his mother when a big rock falls on her. He is left all alone struggling to survive. He comes across a giant male bear but the bear wants nothing to do with the cub as the male bears do not rear the cubs.
The male bear gets shot by hunters who are out in the forest looking for a kill. The wounded bear goes off and tries to heal his wound. The brave bear cub goes over to him and helps him by licking his wound. The male bear befriends the cub and decides that he...

...My littlun loves bear. He's a happy, larger then life character who always manages to see the good in things (bit american cheesy i know but my littluns only two and he adores all that up beat sick as treacle happy happy stuff-so who's to argue). Bear and his pals Tutter, OJ, Pip and Pop, Treelow (with the odd guest appearance from Doc Hogg and Grandma Tutter to name a few) manage to find a way to make "Going Potty" (there words not mine) fun for the preshoolers in your life. Bear manages to sniff, dance and scratch his way through three quarters of an hour of toilet time fun. Give it a go they'll get hooked and you'll have to scour the land in search of the rest of the Bear in the Big Blue House DVD collection....
