Bear In The Big Blue House - Sleepytime With Bear DVD

...My son of 2 years has been a fan of bear in the big blue house since he was about 8 months old. For those of you who haven't heard of Bear, he is a character made by Jim Henson and he has got a lot of friends who live with him you have Ojo a bear cub, Pip and Pop a couple of otters, Treelo a limah, Tutter the mouse and lots more. This video is fantastic, as it has lots of singing and dancing and all of bears favourite songs. For those of you who don't know Bear was live in the uk this year and this is where the video comes from, it is all based on Tutter's surprise birthday party and the organising of it the songs featured include the welcome song, what's in the Mail, Whats that smell, the birthday song and the most famous one The bear Cha Cha Cha. Advantages: can't beat a bit of bear
Disadvantages: too short, have to keep putting back on as littlun cant get enough

...My littlun loves bear. He's a happy, larger then life character who always manages to see the good in things (bit american cheesy i know but my littluns only two and he adores all that up beat sick as treacle happy happy stuff-so who's to argue). Bear and his pals Tutter, OJ, Pip and Pop, Treelow (with the odd guest appearance from Doc Hogg and Grandma Tutter to name a few) manage to find a way to make "Going Potty" (there words not mine) fun for the preshoolers in your life. Bear manages to sniff, dance and scratch his way through three quarters of an hour of toilet time fun. Give it a go they'll get hooked and you'll have to scour the land in search of the rest of the Bear in the Big Blue House DVD collection.... Read review

...Running Time : 48 mins Classification : U Bear is a lovable 7ft bear who lives in a big house (it would have to be) with all of his friends. The film follows him through a typical day in the house starting off with Bear welcoming you to his house he then starts to sniff and asks can you smell what he can too? and asks you to sniff and see what you can smell. He has visits from Shadow his siloutte friend and always finishes the show by going up onto the roof to find Luna the moon and asking her to join him in the Goodbye Song. Ojo - Bearcub Pip and Pop - Otters This DVD consists of two 25 minute show aimed at pre-school children, but if like me you will find yourself glued to it too.
