solve and up-to-date graphics with fast action, using some of the world's favourite children's characters. The programme delivers a fun-filled experience which children will want to repeat again and again.Bear's Imagine Thatwelcomes players into the Big Blue House. There they meet Ojo, who is imagining she is Ojo Angelo a world famous felt-tip and crayon artist. Ojo has a small problem and needs help: she has run out of things to draw, but as the child explores the house and plays the activities Ojo will get lots of inspiration. There are five creative activities, but before they can begin the child must sign in as Bear's guest. There are several different rooms with arrows pointing to new rooms. If a magnifying glass appears the child can take a closer look at part of the room or enter an activity. When the cursor changes to a yellow paw they can get information from one of the characters or interact with an object. The first activity:--"Story Maker"--shows Treelo and Ojo making up stories. The player can help them or they can make up their very own story. There are four different settings plus all the characters from the Big Blue House. The child can choose backgrounds, place stickers and even record their own narration."Bear Crafts", the second activity, has the child joining Bear in the attic, to either help him make some crafts or design some of their own. If they can imagine it they can build it.There is lots of fun in the "Sundae Bar", the third activity, as Tutter has invented a Mouseapult! He needs help to test it and the player must try and catch the scoops of ice-cream Tutter sends their way. Once caught they can either make an ice-cream sundae for one of the characters in the house or make one for themselves.Number four activity, "Pip and Pop Jam", is all about helping Pip and Pop to complete some songs they have almost finished. Once this is done they show their thanks by singing the songs. The last activity, "The Puppet Theatre", asks the child to help Tutter and Ojo put on fairy-tale puppet shows featuring the Big Blue House characters. Now and again Tutter stops the action and the player chooses what happens next. All the activities give Ojo inspiration for new drawings, and they can be printed out and coloured in. This programme is brimming with storytelling, music and creativity, and is a journey of discovery for any child. --Lynne Unwin

Advantages: Good catchy tunes that children will love to sing a long with Disadvantages: catchy tunes you will find yourself singing!
...Bearin the bigbluehouse, a program I had never heard of until a neighbours son ranted and raved that he wanted it on! Now my son is pretty much the same, including at the weekend when it isn't on!
My son is 2 years old and sits absolutely captivated for 20 minutes every weekday morning from 8am until 8.20. Why?? The appearance of a seven foot bear and his friends, affectionately known as 'the guys'!
Bearin the bigbluehouse is a Jim Henson Company creation, about the aforementioned friendly bear, who lives (unsurprisingly) in a bigbluehouse, along with an assortment of pals. Ojo the small teddy bear (not sure of gender), tutter a bizzare (small) blue?? mouse, pip and pop, 2 of the craziest (purple) otters i have ever seen! not to mention, treelo a green (?) racoon, shadow a shadow girl that tells stories and lunar, bears...

Advantages: Henson puppets rock Disadvantages: gets addictive
...It's only over the last 3 years that I was made aware of Bearin the BigBlueHouse when it was on Channel 5's Milkshake - a series of programs aimed at the under 5's on between 6.30 and 9.30 in the mornings. Every time the theme tune for this came on my son would stop what he was doing from an early age and start laughing - we ended up taping one episode to start with just to stop him crying, it was great. Now 3 years on he still loves this big furry bear and all his friends who he helps along the way.
Bear lives inWoodlandvalleyin a bigbluehouse and there are a number of friends who spend time with him. Tutter is a small blue mouse who lives in the house with Bear - he has his own little mouse hole where he tries to fit as much cheese into as possible. OJo is a young female bear cub who's favourite toy is snow bear. Pip...

Advantages: Entertaining and educational or children of all ages Disadvantages: Singing the catchy songs in public can be a bit embarrassing
...over. Really. It's the end.
Ok I will try not to cry, but I miss Bear until I can see him again the next day. But now I don't have to wait! I have discovered Bearin the bigbluehouse Videos and DVD's. I have 4 different ones. They cost £8:99 each though i was lucky enough to get mine at Woolworths on a "buy one get one free" offer. They are all themed and I think well worth the money. It means you can watch "Bear" whenever you like!
I am addicted to Bearin the bigbluehouse. Go on watch and episode I'll bet you'll be hooked. Go on I dare ya!
Meanwhile I am going to go and watch more Bear! I will start the cold turkey tommorrow. I promise!
goodbye now.......
oh and remember Bear will always be there waiting for you in his bigbluehouse.
Goodbye!...
