...Well as you can guess when seeing the patriot you think Mel Gibson - Braveheart. And yes it is a similar kind of film but i thought it was a good movie. Acting was good and it had a good storyline although its similar to many other storylines of similar films.
Like Braveheart a film full of Battles and Mel against the bad guy but his acting is up to his usual good standard.
If you like these kind of films or even Mel Gibson then it is definalty worth seeing. If your a bit squemish though then beware o the usual bloody battlefield fights in this kind of film.
But all round its a good film....

Advantages: Flawless plot, exciting, and very entertaining Disadvantages: None at all!
...You really would. This film is wonderful, an excellent insight into wartime russia. It's based on the true story of sniper Vassili Zaitsev and his part in the war over Stalingrad during World War 2.
Vasilli Zaitsev (Jude law) is a member of the Russian army, fighting at Stalingrad.
He arrives, and has to go into the battlefield with only a set of bullets. He must get a rifle off one of the bodies. The battle is a massacre of the russians, and as soon as anyone tries to run away, they are shot by the russians themselves.
Vassili Zaitsev is one of the two remaining people (the other is Joseph Fiennes) left on the battlefield, hiding within the bodies with another man. He gets a rifle and shoots five germans with exellent sniper skill without them knowing a thing.
He gets promoted to sniper division and the rest carrys on from there, he...
