Could you kill your best friend. That is the situration in Battle Royale. The goverment in a bid to control the rioting youth launch the Battle Royale Act. This act is each year a random school class is transported to an island to fight to the death just to make it worse each child is given a weapon, it could be a frying pan, a knife, a gun, anything and each is also fitted with a collar that blows the head off if in an area that is a no go zone. Certain zones on the island become red zones which active the collars, that person is given a limited amount of time to leave that area or bang. Also if more than one surivor is left still standing then all the surivers died unless they kill each other till one is left.
Tartan Asia Extreme have made some of the best films around recently and this is the cream of the crop.
Everyone should see this if they like horror because the extreme lenghts people will go to survive is the most horrorifing aspect of human nature
