The sequel to the amazing 'Battle Royale'. This Film is also amazing, but not as good as the first. The story is great and is of the same quality, but i feel that it isn't as interesting as the first was. This time, the students involved don't kill each other, they are given guns and camouflage and sent to eliminate a group of 'terrorists', led by none other than Shuya Nanahara, the main character of the first film. This DVD is worth every penny, and can also be watched over and over again, every time as good as the last. Battle Royale 2 is also surprisingly funny like its predecessor, although to a lesser extent as the sequel has a slightly more serious tone than the first.

I see you've posted this as a DVD review, but you've not mentioned the DVD features. Are there any extras? If so, what are they and are they any good? Advantages: Sequel to a brilliant film, good acting and good story line Disadvantages: Not as good as the previous and very similar to saving private ryan in places!
Advantages: Action packed sequel with an *explosive* finish (please pardon the pun!) Disadvantages: Just not enough personal interaction with the majority of the characters.
