Battle Of The Brave DVD

Advantages: Good war fights
Disadvantages: A bit like Brave Heart

...The Patriot is about a revolutionary War hero, General Francis Marion (Mel Gibson), who gets caught up in the American Revolution when the British endanger what he holds most dear. He teams up with his idealistic son and leads a rebel American militia into battle against a relentless and overwhelming Redcoat army. This film is fairly good, but the story line could have been improved a bit and made slightly more interesting... In The Patriot there were some pretty good fight scenes... wars scens really... which kept you sort of on the edge of your seat... Ths film was quite moving at some points... I would only watch this film again if I was really bored or if all my DVD's suddenly disappered. This film reminded me of Brave Heart a lot!!!... Read review

Advantages: the shere hilarity of it

...Ever since watching this film I have been adicted to the monty python trilogy. This has to be one of the funniest films I have ever watched and I thouroughly recomend it to anyone who has the oppourtunity to watch it. The comedy never lets up and the usual monty python hmour is ever present all the way through the film. The film includes several of the legendary knights of the round table such as Lancelot the brave sir Gallahad the pure and in true monty python style it includes Sir Robin the not quites as brave as sir lancelot or as pure as sir robin and the kinght who pissed his pants at the battle of bosworth. The film is never meant to be taken seriously and includes moments where french knights insult the brave questing knights, king arthur encounters the knights of kni and the brilliant magnificent sorcerer known only as Tim... Advantages: excellent story, cast, special effects and great action

...In the answer to my title BOTH. Braveheart is a story about a C13th scotish rebel called William Wallace, he has been called up by the celts to fight against the English is the English's threat of expanding their empire by taking over Scotland grows. At the begining William doesn't have an army but he manages to persuade the Scots to joinhim in the fight. The film goes on and William becomes quite famous as a star to the English and a Hero to the Scots. He seems to know everything to do with battle. Later in the film William is knighted and he comes up against the toughest battle, a castle in the middle of England..........(I never tell the story)Watch this to find out the ending. This film has it all, action, sex (i think), great storyline and excellent cast.... Read review
