Not the most well known of disney films but not a disadvantage. This film follows the quick and pacy adventures of Basil. A mouse mirroring the famous Sherlock Holmes. The character of Basil is a typical english detective. All gadgets included and a lovely maid who makes home baked muffins. the character is well connected with the human world as upstairs silloutees mirror his actions. Then there is Miss Flaversham A young girl with an adorable scottish accent who appears to get basil and the gang in trouble a lot of the time. All other characters are exciting especially basil's arch rival who is a rat that wants to be a mouse. The film has a quick pace and is exciting throughout. the storyline is well known and therefore can appeal to all the family, The end a sucessfull shocking one.
