In short - a movie buff. Reviewing movies is definitely my speciality. Unfortunate that I have to wait until they come out on DVD before I can review them on here.

This movie will drive you up the wall.
Normally I'm a fan of cleverly written films. I love plot twists, films where you have to work things out, and endings you don't expect. However I do expect AN ENDING!
What happened here?! Unfortunately I have not seen the first Basic Instinct film, but from what I gather it was a movie that you felt really uncomfortable watching with your grandparents.
Fortunately I don't think this movie will have the same problem. It is more likely that your grandparents will have slipped into some sort of confusion induced comma before she gets to see Sharon Stone doing the dirty stuff.
For those of you wanting to see this JUST to see Sharon Stone naked (that's lonely 40 year old men and creepy teenage guys) then here is your review. YES she gets naked and YES she gets it doggy style. Review over. Now let's move onto the details of the plot.
The plot is more confusing than a Mexican dyslexic with a lisp trying to tell you the plot of Mission Impossible using txt speak over msn, and as annoying as if he were doing it with a 56k connection. It will drive you nuts.
I know it's taken me a while to get round to it, but I'm just trying to convey how amazingly confusing and complicated this plot is. Basically people keep dying, how they die and who did it is never clear, of course you all think its Sharon Stone at it again. That is... until they make you think otherwise... And then make you change your mind again... And again... And then once more... And then there's a clever plot twist right at the end when you think it's the physiologist... But then the ending makes you think again... aaand its over. Great. You leave the cinema feeling like a dog being teased by its owner with a treat and then the owner eats it.
Nothing, not the sex scenes, not the action, not the constant use of the word 'cum', makes up for the feeling you get at the end. Confusion. To be honest I suggest you watch it, it'll be like 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind', you don't really understand it, but you're glad you've watched it so you can talk about HOW you don't understand it with your friends.

I thought that the perceived appeal of seeing Sharon Stone naked was the whole reason they made the film in the first place? Not that I can claim to have seen it.
